By accessing or using the CYGNOS eLab Notebook, you agree to follow these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the platform. Your continued use of the service means you accept any updates to these Terms.
The Cygnos Biotech eLab Notebook, also referred to as the ELN, is an application used to manage experiments, standard operating procedures, materials, equipment, and reports. The platform supports e-signatures, version-controlled experiment records, and audit trails.
The ELN is intended for authorized CYGNOS users and users from businesses approved by CYGNOS. Accounts will only be provided by direct invitation from CYGNOS. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and not allowing any other person or application to access the system using your credentials. CYGNOS manages user access, roles, and permissions.
You agree to use the ELN only for its intended purpose as an electronic lab notebook and research record system for CYGNOS projects. You must not share your credentials, attempt to access data or systems without authorization, interfere with the platform’s operation, upload malicious content, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Experiment data and records are stored in accordance with CYGNOS security practices and applicable organizational policies. For more information about how personal data, usage data, and research records are collected, used, and protected, please review the Privacy Policy.
Content created by users within the ELN, including experiments, procedures, reports, observations, associated data, and attachments, remains the intellectual property of the user’s organization and CYGNOS BioTech, LLC unless otherwise agreed in writing. The ELN platform, including its design, code, configuration, and branding, is the intellectual property of CYGNOS BioTech, LLC.
Users are responsible for keeping their account credentials secure and not allowing any other person or application to access the system using their credentials, including access control, data security, CUI handling, incident reporting, acceptable use, and recordkeeping requirements. Users should promptly report suspected security incidents, unauthorized access, or data integrity concerns to their organization’s administrator and contact CYGNOS IT support at itsupport@cygnosbiotech.com.
The CYGNOS eLab Notebook (“ELN”) is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. The ELN includes controls intended to support CYGNOS authorized laboratory, research, and recordkeeping activities, including electronic signatures, audit trails, and access controls. Use of the ELN is limited to authorized CYGNOS projects, users, and approved collaborators.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CYGNOS BioTech, LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to use of the ELN.
Cygnos Biotech, LLC may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted with an updated revision date. Continued use of the ELN after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
